Midday

It's a lovely quiet sunny day in my city today. No noises from the street, fresh air coming through the windows. Quite a perfect day to have a walk along the beach promenade where, no doubt, you'll find lots of people sitting at restaurants terraces having a chat, reading the latest news or simply letting the sun warm their faces sharing a bottle of red...
This morning, you could still meet people in carnival costumes waiting for the bus to take them home or wandering about in search of a most desired taxi. Young boys in red dresses, high heel shoes, torn out tights and blond platinum wigs who looked at you with their tired-after-15-hour-party regards and still gave you a beautiful smile. Then, as you walked on, you saw plastic earrings accidentally or willingly dropped on the sidewalk, coloured spangles lying here and there or abandonned heeled shoes that someone didn't stand to walk on anymore...
The sun was already shining in a clear blue sky and still is.
