Not that bad, is it?

Some minor drawbacks have come my way and will prevent me from travelling abroad in my holiday time this year. I'd been dreaming of going either to Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin or Copenhagen or some of them combined but, in the end, I won't be able to do so. Anyway, one must know what their priorities are any time and, unfortunately, this is not the one now...
On the other hand, Rufus Wainwright, one of my favourite musicians lately, is performing on my neighbouring island of Tenerife (I live on Gran Canaria) in the very middle of my two-week vacation (that's on September 30) so now, after a first refusal due to my prefering travelling abroad, I'll be able to attend his first (and most unexpected) concert in the Canary Islands.
So good news will overcome bad and everything will remain in its right place until a better time comes.
